They are on the road with some 150 gigs a year. To date, the couple has produced two albums that have found strong favor with WNCW radio listeners. They make us believe the lyrics they sing. Together, they have a special harmony that blends perfectly, yet retain their individual personalities. She has that old-fashioned mountain-girl quality that is high and clear he has a youthful and sturdy straightforwardness of a good ol’ boy. Today the duo is renowned for the quality of their voices, the so-true lyrics of their songs, and their faithfulness to music bred in the Carolina mountains. She invited him to join her and some friends to a musical get-together, and they quickly found their voices meshed amazingly well together. Both had dreams of careers in music, and by their chance encounter that dream is now coming true. Little did he know that his voice struck a chord in Kelli’s heart, and she couldn’t resist introducing herself. ![]()
